Not at all! To get started on FloccPro, all you'll need is a skillset, a mindset, and the right toolset to get the job done.

Flocc collects a 12% commission from its service providers' revenue, and charges a 7% commission to customers on the platform. Service providers also pay a 3% +$0.30 processing fee to Stripe for each transaction. These rates are significantly lower than similar websites, yet they still enable us to keep the platform growing and running smoothly.

We offer a verified status (indicated by a green checkmark at the top right of a service provider's profile). This mark will convey trust and reliability to the community. To become verified, a service provider must pay for and pass an FCRA-compliant background check, which can be found here.

There is a FloccPro app in the works, and it should be ready to download by Winter 2025.

. As a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 service provider—the highest level of certification available—Stripe ensures that financial data is securely handled and compliant with global regulations.
Here is why your financial information is secure:
  • Encrypted Data: All payment data is encrypted both in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest (using AES-256). This means that if the data is intercepted, it is scrambled and unreadable.
  • Tokenization: Stripe uses a tokenization process that replaces sensitive credit card numbers with unique, non-sensitive tokens. This means your financial details are never stored on the gig platform's servers, significantly lowering the risk of a data breach.
  • Advanced Fraud Detection: Stripe's machine-learning tool, Radar, analyzes billions of transactions in real-time to detect and block fraudulent activity, protecting both you and the platform.
  • Protective Infrastructure: Stripe isolates and manages its card data vault on a separate hosting infrastructure from its other services. Access is restricted to a small, dedicated team of engineers, with all access reviewed quarterly.
For FloccPro service providers, this means you can trust that your bank account information is protected when you receive payouts. For customers, it ensures your credit card information is secure when paying for a service. By outsourcing payment security to a specialized and highly-certified company like Stripe, we aim to provide peace of mind to all users.

At FloccPro, we strive to foster a community built on trust and excellent service. We understand that occasionally, expectations may not align. While FloccPro acts as a neutral venue and is not legally or financially responsible for the actions of independent users, we provide this structured process to help our members reach a fair resolution.


1. The Direct Path (Mandatory 48-Hour Period)

Most issues are the result of simple misunderstandings. Before involving our administration, we require both parties to attempt a direct resolution.

  • Action: Message the other party through the FloccPro secure chat.

  • Goal: Discuss the concern and agree on a remedy (e.g., a return visit to fix a mistake or a partial refund).

  • Window: You must allow at least 48 hours for a response from the other party before escalating.


2. Opening a Formal Dispute

If a direct conversation does not resolve the issue, you may file a formal dispute through your Job Dashboard.

Once a dispute is filed:

  • Funds are Paused: All funds currently held in escrow will be locked and cannot be paid out until the case is closed.

  • Evidence Collection: You will be prompted to upload:

    • Photos/Videos: Clear evidence of the work performed or the issue at hand.

    • Description: A clear explanation of how the service did not meet the agreed-upon terms.

    • Proposed Solution: A specific dollar amount for a refund or a specific action required to close the job.


3. The Response Window

Once a dispute is filed, the other party has 48 hours to respond. They may:

  1. Accept the Proposal: The escrowed funds will be automatically adjusted and distributed.

  2. Counter-Offer: Propose a different refund amount.

  3. Decline with Evidence: Provide their own photos/documentation for review.

Failure to respond within 48 hours will result in the dispute being settled in favor of the active party.


4. Administrative Facilitation

If a deadlock is reached, a FloccPro facilitator will review the In-App Chat Logs and the Evidence Provided.

Our Role & Limitations:

  • Our review is strictly limited to the funds held in escrow for that specific job.

  • We do not provide compensation for damages, materials, or "pain and lingering issues" beyond the job's original price.

  • All administrative decisions are final and based on Platform Policy.


Important Policy Reminders

  • Release of Funds: Once a customer clicks "Release Funds" or "Job Complete," the escrow is closed, and the transaction is final. FloccPro cannot reverse funds once they have been moved from escrow to a provider’s bank account.

  • Off-Platform Payments: Our Dispute Resolution process only applies to payments made through Stripe Connect on our platform. Cash or outside payments are not protected and violate our Terms of Service.
